The Haywood bench

A classic look with modern versatility! Inspired by the planner group designed by Paul McCobb in the 1950’s

This HAYWOOD Bench is actually 3 pieces of furniture in one!

1. It functions nicely as a small desk to work on your laptop or iPad,get caught up on emails or to surf ETSY! 2 drawers to store all your stationary and office supplies or just stash your junk!!

The cabinet is made from 3/4″ birch veneer ply that is stained to match the bench top. The drawer fronts have been painted to match the upholstery Black and white in this case but can be finished in a variety of colors. They can be 2 different colors as shown or both the same. Your choice. I also offer the drawer fronts in stained wood or Formica laminate finishes (not shown but offered, please contact me to discuss options )

The Medium dense 3″ poly foam cushion is upholstered in a very hip 60’s inspired hounds-tooth chenille fabric with black welt detailing. The cushion is reversible and removable.

The cabinet is removable and can be positioned on either side of the bench or removed completely and can function as an end table with storage.

Once the cushion and cabinet are removed, this bench can function as a coffee table.

The birch wood is offered in a variety of stain options with a satin or semi gloss water based poly finish.

The legs are made from 5.” square tube that have been welded and
painted a satin black. Other colors available – please inquire.
